PDNB Gallery
My work is now represented in Dallas by the PDNB Gallery. I will be exhibiting virtually and with a small selection of pieces at the gallery October 20 – November 30, 2020. Stay tuned for additional information and special videos. Works in the gallery include freestanding ceramic sculptures. All artworks are made with earthenware clay, fired to 1940 degrees and feature highly textured glazes and elaborately carved surfaces. Some of the pieces are assembled with high strength epoxy and are sealed in clear acrylic. All are suitable for installation outside though it would be best to protect them from freezing.

A lidded container. All the morse code dots and dashes (and word spaces) in Wittgenstein’s phrase, in no particular order. The patterns are represented in raised dots at the top of the vessel and in carved recessed shapes underneath the vessel.

Quotation from Wittgenstein’s Tractatus. Carved morse code symbols on the top of the vessel in a pattern reminiscent of Mayan or Northwest Indian carving, at least to me. The phrase is repeated underneath the vessel in a raised pattern.
