I am happy to share two recent installations of my work, one old, one new. Last year, I was commissioned to do a moderately figurative sculpture by a friend here in the Asheville area for her garden; two earthenware figures mounted on copper tubes and a metal shaft running through a handsome rock. That’s the new piece. It was installed early this summer. The other, done forty years ago and titled “Salmon Ladder” has been installed late last month at the home of friends and collectors on San Juan Island in Washington State. I am happy to have my work in such nice settings and hope to visit them soon!
